The steels that are made from variety of carbon and alloy
steels are called stainless steel .they are known for their hardness and
abrasion, deformation and strength to hold the cutting edge at the elevated
temperature and are used for tools steels which are suited for shaping of other
materials also to build the variety of household goods due to its
anti-corrosive elements that are typically developed to resist the various
corrosive environments.it requires high-quality mechanical activity to produce
required quality of steel it is durable and last longer which is hygienic
environment-friendly can be recycled, melt and can be used for other purposes.
A large number of chromium vanadium and molybdenum are used to form a stainless
steel. There are four types of stainless steel. Of these,
Austenitic is the most widely used. It has a nickel content
of at least 7%, which gives it flexible properties. It is used in a range of housewares
products, industrial piping and vessels, constructional structures and
architectural facades.
Ferritic stainless steel has similar properties to mild
steel and is better corrosion resistance. The steel is commonly used in washing
machines, boilers and indoor architecture.
Martensitic stainless steel is a very hard, strong steel. It
contains around 13% chromium and is used to make knives and turbine blades.
Duplex steel is a composite of austenitic and ferritic
steels. This steel is both strong and flexible. Duplex steels are most commonly
used in the paper, pulp and shipbuilding industries. They are also widely used
in the petrochemical industry. Stainless steel manufacturers and its products
plays an active role in improving the hygiene condition in restaurants, public
kitchen, schools, local health centers etc. Especially in emerging markets such
as India, Mexico, China and other Developing countries. One of the major reason
in the changing patterns is the changing social and developing habits in the
urban and rural areas. Today consumer prefers for hygienic, aesthetic and easy
maintenance.
